Cheesy Kids!

See, I told you, these kids just like to have

their pictures taken. Work? What's that?

Oh gag me! This is in the old homestead!

For some reason the kids thought this was soooo funny!

Actually, Jenson's reaction was quite funny.

The rest of the family was BUSY WORKING!

Workin', Workin', Workin'!

I didn't mean for this to be the first picture, but this is truth!

This is Jaelyn's way of workin' things out!

She likes to play around while the rest of us

are actually accomplishing something!!! (no really!)

Jacie and her friends were hilarious! They worked and worked

until this wall of 6x6 blocks actually came down!

I was so proud of them!

And then I didn't even get an after shot, dang it!

These girls are tough!

Jacie is such a trooper. Doing jobs that nobody else wants to do!
The kids had a blast taking the sledge hammer to this old addition.

It took a while but he did it!

Behind all of that paneling were 6x6 blocks of wood.

The man that built this addition was unreal. The wood he

used, the varied lengths of wood, and boy did he love nails!!!!

Family trip to Sunny St. George

This was our last little trip before school started.

The pools in St. George are so fun and refreshing.

The weather was beautiful!

I have bought JoLee two swimsuits this summer and of course,

before our trip we weren't able to find either of them.

I am wondering if my washing machine has been eating them

and I haven't noticed until...

I CAN'T FIND THEM WHEN I NEED THEM!

At this pool they have a kiddie pool that's only 2 feet deep

that Jenson loves, and they have a pool that goes up to 4 feet.

It's fun to sit in the hot tub when it's dark!

She wanted a WHOPPER ICE CREAM PIE

so that is what she got! It was yummy!

The recipe is on the outside of the whopper box, if anyone

is interested!

She has to open her presents first thing in the morning, so

we have some sleepy heads amongst us!

She got some pj pants, a few key rings for her new keys,

and a nice purse from Ma-key!

Her big sister also, finally paid her back for the gas money
jacie had lent to her.

Jacie had a happy day!

She loves the new found freedom of having a driver's license!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!

Jenson is in afternoon kindergarten!

JoLee is in 2nd grade.

Jack is in 7th grade.

Jacie is a Junior - and is now driving!
(by the way, her tennis shoes glow in the dark)

And Jaelyn is a very independent SENIOR!! oh my!!!!

A bunch of cute kids. Most of them were excited about school starting!

Mom is excited too. No tears yet, they will come all throughout the year

as Jaelyn does her last...bday @ home, thanksgiving, christmas, etc...

LEMONADE FOR SALE!!!

I'm not sure where the idea came from, but JoLee

decided she wanted to have a lemonade stand

and Jenson had to do it too!

I guess she saw some other kids doing it and thought it would be fun.

And how can Mom say "no"??

She made her own sign and the lemonade all by herself!
We live on a busy road so she had quite a few customers!
She made big bucks! (More from the cuteness factor than
the actual lemonade.) A lot of people gave them a dollar instead of
just a quarter and told them to keep the change.

Ladies Night Out!

Isaac is such a happy little guy. He was smilin' at his mommy!

He didn't stay in one position for long, so I had to take

We were at a benefit concert, listening to
Peter Breinholt and a few others. It was nice sitting in the park
enjoying a nice cool evening, listening to music, that we recognized & enjoyed!!!

We should have had a picture with Courtney, Londyn, and Isaac.
We were all there together. Sorry. Thanks for taking us. We had a good time!
