Happy Birthday!

Happy 17th Birthday to Jaelyn
(I don't know why her mother can never remember
to get candles, so we used what we had.
She had to do a little math (15 + 2 = 17) before she could eat her cake.
(her Mom is so lame)
That's not a very pretty blueberry Cheesecake, but it was yummy!

Sports, Sports, and More Sports!

Here's our X-Country runner, isn't she cute!
On to State she goes - WOO HOO!

This is our Volleyball Girl
She's the one in white with shiny shoulders.
(bad picture-oops)
She plays the libro position.
Both VB and X-Country teams will be going on to State!!!

Soccer season

Soccer season is finally over!
JoLee getting an award
(oops, I forgot to rotate the picture)

Jenson has had enough. Look at those red cheeks. He played hard!
It was hard for Mom to coach Jenson's team and take pictures
of all 3 of them playing at the same time.

Jack-man - he's a great defender

After 10 weeks of soccer, we are all ready to move on to
the next event. The weather was getting COLD!

Trip to Sunny St. George

Trip to St. George - October 2009
Swimin' outside in heated pools.
How awesome is that?!!
Jenson was getting quite brave in the kiddie pool.
The water felt like bath water - outside in October.

It was awesome!

oops!

Havin' fun in the sunny St. George

Splitin' & Stackin' the wood

Time to split and stack the wood.
It looks like a beautiful autumn day,
but it was COLD!!

Once again, I didn't get the pictures in order. oh well, they're posted.

Family wood haul - 2009

Gotta stock up on some wood for those cold winter nights
that are coming our way.

We've got some hard workin' kids! We couldn't do it without them.

Working together

Re-roofing our house. It was quite the family project.
Everyone was so good to help.
I just realized I don't have a picture of the new roof.
And the order is backwards again. oops!

The little ones got on the roof twice. That was more
than enough for mom's nerves.

Thank goodness for handy tools that make the job easier.
Dad's muscles help a lot too!

Getting the shingles off was the most time consuming part.
Luckily on the front of the house we could slide most
of the shingles right into the trailer. On the back side
I had to personally haul them to the trailer.
Once again, mom did the ground work while everyone
else was on the roof.
